Introduction
Blue Triangle's Business Intelligence solution is designed to give customers fresh insights by leveraging large-scale data in an accessible, user-friendly format. Users can view a range of existing metric dashboards, refine and filter data according to their preferences, compare data across different time periods or settings, and export and share dashboards with colleagues. Currently, only Real User (RUM) data is available in BI. Other datatypes will be added in future versions.
With the introduction of BT BI V4, users now have access to creation and scheduling of dashboards and looks. Access to this is granted through the user configuration page.
Where to Look in the Portal
To navigate to the Blue Triangle Business Intelligence page, first navigate to the "Advanced Reporting & Alerting" section in the Left Navigation Menu.
Then navigate to "Custom Reporting"
This is where you will find Business Intelligence
For more information on Blue Triangle Portal navigation, please see our Help Center article on How to use the New Left Navigation Menu.
The Landing Page
The landing page offers a combination of critical data points and trends, as well as dashboard navigation components:

Viewing Dashboards
To view a dashboard, select a board type from the navigation bar on the right side of the page or an option from the Recommended Content on the landing page.

The following is a list of global dashboards that are available to customers at present. This list will evolve over time.
- CWV Top 10 Period over Period Dashboard
- CWV Trends Dashboard
- Period Over Period Key Metrics Dashboards
- Core Web Vital URL Volume
- CWV Impact on Organic Search

Statistical Methods
In some dashboards, there are now expanded Statistical Method options, include Trimmed Avg 25:25 and Percentile Trim. For more information, please see this article.
Sticky Filters
The sticky filters feature allows you to save the desired filters for a specific dashboard and site. At this time, you are only able to save one set of saved filter selections per report per site.
To save the filters you have currently set on a BI dashboard, verify you are under the correct site in the site dropdown in the top tool bar in the portal. From here, select the filter/funnel icon in the top right corner of the BI dashboard.
Select SAVE.
Now by default, when you land on this dashboard, you will see this set of filters. To reset, click the filter/funnel icon again and select RESET.
Download a Dashboard
Click on the three-dot icon to open the menu and download the dashboard as a PDF of CSV file.
It is recommended to set the page size to "Letter" and the orientation to "Landscape" to maximize the horizontal width of the page for the dashboard.
Creating Dashboards and Looks
Users with the Creator enabled will have access to create and save dashboards and looks. For more information on how to use this feature, please see this article from our help center.
